Wentworth "A" Frame

Mountain Arks is probably best known for its portable "A" frame style chicken coops. These are a 2 story chicken coop, where the ground level allows the chickens to freely feed and scratch around, while on the first floor (accessed by a hinged ramp) is the nesting area and a secure roost.

They are also suitable for bunnies and guinea pigs as a replacement for the patterson. We can provide a 1800mm x 1200mm mesh panel to be placed on the ground and the Wentworth placed on top to prevent the occupants digging for freedom. If you need a run with your Wentworth and intend to use it for rabbits you will need a mesh panel for the run as well as for the coop

These Arks have been carefully designed to allow a good flow of air to circulate throughout the upper story — most essential during the summer months. The hinged ramp is also a trapdoor which can be raised at night to safely secure the birds from any nocturnal predators (foxes or cats).

With all of our coops, the nesting boxes and perches lift out to enable easy cleaning.

The Wentworth is the king of chicken sheds and is available in 3 sizes with different lengths. All have the same height at the apex (1120mm) and width (1300mm):

Small — length 1040mm suitable for 2-4 birds —	$480
Medium — length 1350mm suitable for 4-6 birds —	$600
Large — length 1960mm suitable for 6-8 birds —	$720
We can also provide an 1800mm run for your Wentworth	$280
Bunny & Guinea Pig 1800mm x 1200mm mesh panel (you will need two for a Wentworth with a run)	$60

We now deliver to the greater Sydney area for $1.50 per kilometre. Use google maps to calculate the distance between our workshop and where you want the product delivered (use the get directions link) and for now add a note to your order with that distance and don't forget to give the delivery address. We will improve this process soon.
